3. Hard Cover Books Delivery

• In Stock: Hardcover books that are in stock will be shipped immediately. Customers within South Africa can expect to receive their orders within 2-3 working days (excluding public holidays). Johannesburg and Pretoria residents may receive their deliveries as early as the next day, while outlying areas may require 2-3 working days. Orders can be tracked via our website for full transparency.
• East London Customers: Please note that due to adverse weather, some shipments to East London may experience flight cancellations.
• Redline Zones: For customers in redline zones, where courier deliveries are unavailable, we offer delivery to the nearest PEP store within 2-3 days.
• Outside South Africa: For international customers, delivery time depends on the ability to pay customs duties. We aim to have your shipment in your country within 2-3 days, but flight disruptions (e.g., volcanoes, severe weather) may affect timing. Additional customs duties, interest, penalties, and storage fees are the customer’s responsibility. You can also use your preferred courier by emailing us at sales@bookbay.co.za.
• Bulk Orders: For orders exceeding 10 books, delivery may take up to 25 days due to the printing process. This includes valuable South African books to read like Conquering Your Years in Tertiary by Ntokozo Mthethwa and The Layers of Holistic Healing by Palesa Morake.
