Description
Vuka Mzontsundu was published in 2021 and is a poetry collection, which consists of 37 poems written in isiXhosa. The main themes are Gender Based Violence (GBV), poverty, jealousy, family scandals, nature and love to name a few. The aim is to raise awareness and awaken people’s consciousness using a South African indigenous language. In 2022, its author Phumelele Fobozi was awarded as one of the PAN WARRIORS IN AFRICA.
